Google Educator Level I Exam
I completed the Google Educator Level I Exam! It was exactly thirty-five questions long with the opportunity to utilize the Google tool to answer questions during the exam. Although I did not pass, I feel confident that a second attempt will end successfully.
To prepare for the exam, I took advantage of a couple of resources found online. First, I moved step-by-step through the Fundamentals Training Course promoted by both my instructor as well as the Google exam registration website. This tool provided sample questions along with quizzes that test your knowledge in between segments of information. The next tool used was found via a blog post by John Sowash. His work captured my attention from an advertisement description of the 2023 version of the exam. Mr. Sowash also offered an exam study guide for free if viewers subscribed to his blog. The study guide was found to be quite helpful.
The most useful tool was found to be the use of the Google tools during the exam. Each of the thirty-five questions were specific in nature yet straightforward. By opening the tool that was the subject of the question, exam takers may test out their responses before submitting a final answer to the question. The low cost of the exam, the 3-hour time window and the opportunity to shut out the busy world motivate me to retake the exam soon.
